ABOUT GLU

GLU is a place to connect, to belong, to know, be known and just be together.

Belonging has always been something I searched for. There were times when I felt like I knew where I fit in, and plenty of times I didn’t. I’m sure you’ve had your moments too.

I realized something over the years. We all belong to one body in Christ but sometimes we can feel far apart, isolated and yes, lonely at times.

Even with many well-intentioned churches, you can feel unseen, left out and underutilized.

We all want and need to belong. It’s one of our most basic needs. God made us relational as we are made in the image of a relational God.

But, it’s not always easy to connect with other believers outside of where we worship and  even sometimes, at our place of worship.

I’m a counselor and a facilitator. I talk to people all day long. I’m also a wife and a mother, yet, by nature, I’m still an introvert who has struggled with some level of shyness all my life, so I know it’s not always easy to fit in and know others.

And even for my more extroverted and sociable brothers and sisters, it can be a challenge to form genuine friendships with other believers.

But now, the GLU VILLAGE, our online community, just might make belonging and finding your place in the body of Christ a little easier.
